Mommy and I went to lunch with Payton today (the boy who was born the same day as I was) and when Mommy tried to get us to pose for pictures together to show how much bigger he was, I made my feelings about boys abundantly clear by punching him in the jaw!

It's been another busy week. This one was full of visitors!

The Lewis' came by to visit on Wednesday. I enjoyed being held by Ms. Tori and Ms. Kirsten for the afternoon.

Thursday was a super-busy day. Ms. Elizabeth came by first, then Nikki Booth dropped by and brought Payton and Addy. Payton was born on the same day as me in the same hospital. We were going to get a picture of us together, but it got a little crowded in the house before Mommy had a chance. While they were visiting, our neighbor across the street brought Gabby by to take me for a walk.

Then came the best excitement of all - I got to meet my Aunt Ellen!!!

After Daddy came home from work on Friday night, we all went out for dinner. Mommy and Daddy thought that I did a GREAT job for my first dinner out.

On Saturday morning, after Aunt Ellen left, we had some "tummy time." Mommy and Daddy think that I win the Olympic medal for fastest crawl over the pillow. I managed to climb all the way over the pillow to the other side - not just once, but twice. Pretty impressive for not quite 6 weeks old!!

This week I get to meet my Ma-Moo (Daddy's Mom) - she's coming to visit from Boston.

For those that are worried about my weight, Mommy and Daddy did an unscientific weight check (Daddy stood on the scale with me and then without me) and determined that I'm about 8.5 pounds, so I'm growing.

Of course, we need the obligatory naptime shot....

Happy President's Day (a bit late)

We mostly napped through President's Day - which was nice.

Of course, Mommy and Daddy did have to drag me out for another walk. This time I got to wear my fun track suit.

After that we just played for the restof the day. The chair was a new experience. It vibrates, which was quite a shock!!

Yesterday was very exciting. We got up and had my passport photo taken (when Mommy finds a scanner, she'll scan it in to share). I looked very cute, if I do say so myself. I also did a great job - it only took two tries to get a perfect shot. We then went and got my social security number and came back to base to apply for my government passport. I'm now allowed to travel with Mommy and Daddy to Germany!!!

I also went in and was weighed again yesterday. I've finally gained enough weight to be back over my birth weight and am now at 7 lbs 8 ozs - no more weight checks until my two month appointment!!

Tomorrow I get to meet my Aunt Ellen for the first time - very exciting!!

Happy one month birthday to me!

We had an exciting day today.

Mommy woke up at 2 a.m. and noticed that the water was out. She and Daddy worried that the pipes had frozen. So, since no one could shower, we decided to have a pajama day for the morning.

Daddy and I played upside-down and airplane too (and, as much as it doesn't look like it, I really did enjoy playing airplane)

Of course, a good nap was taken directly afterwards.....

This afternoon we all decided to go for a walk. Since it was cold, I had to put on my snowsuit, which, even in the smallest size is about 3 sizes too big....

Then we came home and just played all afternoon. I like weekends with both Mommy and Daddy home.

Well, it's bedtime for babies (and for tired Mommies too). We learned that the water is out due to a broken water main, so Mommy and Daddy are talking about taking me to the base gym for my first workout tomorrow so that we can use the showers afterwards - since we aren't expected to have water back on until Monday now.... I guess that means less time on dishes and more time playing with me!!!

Not much exciting here. Mommy and I decided to go for a walk around the big block in our neighborhood - I was a vision in green (which made my hair look especially red today) and too cute to resist with the camera.

Happy Valentines Day!!!

I really think that I should be a model....

Today I was personally introduced to one of the cats. Marlowe has been slowly checking me out and stands guard when I cry and Lia seems oblivious to my presence (going so far as to try to climb on Mommy's lap when I was there first - it's like she doesn't even see me!), but Will has pretty much left me alone. He has taken a shining to my changing table though. Luckily we've never had a conflict in when we need to use the table, until today. I wasn't very sure of the whole situatiuon, but luckily, Will decided he'd had enough of the introduction game before I did.

Do I need to have had an eventful day for a photo like this?

We went to Los Alamos to see Grandpa, Granny and Nanna this weekend - plus, to watch some silly little event called the Super Bowl.

It turned out to be a good thing that we went to Grandpa as he came down with a pretty serious case of the kidney stones while we were there. He was in a perfect state to sit and snuggle with me all weekend. We talked about life and, of course, football and golf, all weekend.

While we were there, we celebrated Uncle Shane's birthday with cake and ice cream.

This is my new favorite travelling dress - Daddy's Aunt Deb made it for me and it fits perfectly!
